RICHMOND—A Brunswick man has been charged after he reportedly flashed a gun at a driver during a road rage incident.

Kirk Townsend, 61, was arrested last week and charged with criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon, according to a Maine State Police press release.

A driver called police Friday after a man in a maroon Chevrolet pick-up reportedly pointed a handgun at him as he was passing the pickup truck on Interstate 295 in Bowdoin, police said.

Trooper Kyle Pelletier found the pick-up and stopped on the interstate in Richmond shortly after the alleged incident took place. Townsend was interviewed and arrested.
