United States is the name of our country, but there is no truth in it.
Key states, battleground states — Electoral College control our elections. If the Supreme Court hadn’t decided the presidential election of 2000, George W. Bush would have never been the worst president this country has ever seen.
We, here in Maine, vote, but our votes mean nothing. It’s like we are not part of the United States, because the states are not united.
Let’s make the changes that need to be made so that we will really become “the United States.”
The special interests can afford to rig elections in four or five states; they can’t afford this for all 50 states.
