Dec. 6: ‘When We Were the Kennedys’

The Gardiner Public Library will resume its Local Author Series program at 7 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 6. 
Author Monica Wood will speak about her book, “When We Were the Kennedys,”  a memoir set in 1963 Mexico, Maine. The book tells the story of a family reeling from their own setbacks, as well as the story of a nation mourning the loss of the president. 

This event will be held in the Hazzard Reading Room. The author has offered to do a book signing after her talk, so bring along the book if you own a copy.

This program is free and open to the public. The library is at 152 Water St. Please call 582-3312 for more information.

Dec. 11: Six authors in Topsham

Maine Authors Publishing is pleased to announce a book signing during Percy’s Burrow grand opening at the Topsham Fair Mall. The event will take place from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday, and will feature authors showcasing historical fiction, memoir, children’s books and fiction.
Authors who will appear are:
