BANGOR — The Maine Air National Guard’s 101st Air Refueling Wing is getting a new commander.
A change of command ceremony is scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at the unit’s Bangor base. Col. John D’Errico will relinquish command to Col. Douglas Farnham.
D’Errico has been serving with the Maine National Guard since 1978, and as commander of the 101st for more than three years.
Farnham is a 1984 graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy. As an instructor pilot and flight examiner in the C-21A Learjet, he served as the primary pilot for the commander of the U. S. Space Command.
