HALLOWELL — Dana and Brenda Evans of Hallowell, and Paula and Timothy Collier of South Gardiner, announce the engagement of their daughter, Katherine Evans, to Jim DeCoste, son of Jack and Nancy DeCoste of Plymouth, Mass.
Katherine graduated from Hall-Dale High School in 1998 and from the University of Southern Maine in 2002. She is a special education teacher at Prospect Hill Academy Charter School in Somerville, Mass.
Jim graduated from Duxbury High School in 1995 and from UMASS Amherst in 1999. He is a project development/manager for Out of the Woods Construction Co. in Acton, Mass.
A July 27, 2013 wedding is planned.
