CANAAN — Nomination papers will be available Wednesday, Dec. 26, at the Town Office.
The following positions will be open: three selectmen/assessors, staggered terms; five planning board members for two-year term, School Administrative District director for a three-year term and road commissioner, a one-year term.
Nomination papers must be returned to the town clerk by Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, with no less then 25 and no more then 100 signatures.
The annual municipal town meeting is set for 9 a.m. Saturday, March 16, 2013, at the Canaan Elementary School.
Municipal elections will be from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, March 18, 2013.
