WATERVILLE — Cassidy Dangler, a Waterville Senior High School junior, recently gave a karate demonstration and led the 14 Adventure Girls in a karate class to empower girls to fight back and learn self-defense techniques.

Dangler is a second-degree black belt at Club Naha and a member of Hardy Girls’ Girls Advisory Board.

At 10 years old, Dangler became the youngest person to receive a black belt in Waterville. She is training for her third-degree black belt.

Participants were presented with an honorary white belt.
