KENTS HILL — Matt Plourde had four goals and two assists as the Maranacook/Hall-Dale/Winthrop co-op team defeated Leavitt, 7-2, in high school action Wednesday afternoon at Kents Hill School.

Leavitt (3-4-0 in Western B), led 1-0 after the first period on a goal by Connor Violette, but the Hawks took control from there. Plourde scored twice in the second period to give MHW a 2-1 lead, then added two goals and two assists in the third period.

Dan Condon added two goals and three assists for MHW (5-2-1 in Eastern A). Nick Lacasse also had a goal, and Jared Hanson picked up two assists. Matt Dubois made 15 saves in the win.

Adam Poulin also scored for Leavitt, and Jacob Gladu assisted on both goals for the Hornets. Nick Allen made 40 saves.

Cony 7, GNG-Poland 3: Austin Davis had three goals and an assists as the Rams beat the Patriotic Knights at the Bank of Maine Ice Vault in Hallowell.

Tyler leet added three goals and Zach Gagne had one for the Rams (5-2-0). Dallas Clark added four assists, Aaron Manter added two, while Drew Keithley and Anthony Brunelle eac had one. Tom Small had 13 saves to earn the win.

Calen Bridgham had two goals and an assist for GNG/Poland (2-5-0). Ethan Callier added a goal.

Boys basketball

Kents Hill 51, Brewster 34: Jake Ades had a double-double with 10 assists and 10 steals as the Huskies defeated the Bobcats in Wolfeboro, N.H.

Eli Roberts (19 points, five steals) and Ethan Feldman (10 points) scored in double figures for Kents Hill, which improved to 3-5. The Huskies led 25-18 at the half.

Matt Gregary and Griffin Kresbach each scored 11 points for Brewster (1-5).

Winthrop 57, Telstar 31: The Ramblers jumped to a 43-11 first-half lead and coasted to the Mountain Valley Conference win.

Dakota Carter led the Ramblers (5-4) with 20 points, nine rebounds and five steals while Ben allen added eight points and five steals and Hunter Kilgore 10 points.

Austin Ryerson scored eight points for Telstar (1-6).

Girls basketball

Winthrop 47, Telstar 44: The Ramblers picked up their first win since 2011, thanks to clutch free throws down the stretch from freshmen Kesley Stoneton and Dani Kotow and junior Cat Ouellette.

They didn’t take the lead until the final two minutes. Sauna Carlson led Winthrop (1-8) with 14 points while Ouellete scored 13 and Randi Dennett eight. Victoria Ryerson led Telstar (0-9) with 24 points.

Kents Hill 50, Sacopee Valley 44: Sara Grenier scored 25 points as the Huskies won in Kents Hill.
Emma Curnin added 14 points and nine rebounds for Kents Hill (2-2).

Kristen Lyle had 14 points for Sacopee Valley (2-5).
