BRUNSWICK — Morgan Buker scored 24 points and grabbed 16 rebounds to lead the Skowhegan girls basketball team past Brunswick 59-50 in a Kennebec Valley Athletic COnference Class A game Monday night.
Taylor Johnson chipped in with seven points for Skowhegan (6-5).
Liz Henshaw scored a game-high 29 points to lead the Dragons (2-9).

Spruce Mountain 54, Carrabec 34: The Phoenix pulled away in the second half en route to the Mountain Valley Conference win in North Anson. Emily Keene led the winenrs with 21 points while teammate Nicole Hamlin scored 15. Emma Pluntke led the Cobras with 11 points and nine rebounds. Spruce Mountain is 11-0, Carrabec is 5-6.
Lawrence 56, Lewiston 47: Nia Irving scored 12 points and grabbed 20 rebounds to lead the Bulldogs to the KVAC A win in Fairfield.
Paige Belanger also posted a double-double, scoring 10 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. Dominique Lewis scored 13 points for the Bulldogs (7-4) as well.
Bri Wilson scored 17 points to pace Lewiston (3-8).

Edward Little 56, Messalonskee 37: Tianna Harriman scored a game-high 21 points and Brooke Reynolds added 11 to lead the Red Eddies to the KVAC A victory in Oakland.
Kory Norcross also scored 11 points for EL (9-2).
Kassi Michaud scored 11 points and Kelsey Mayo added eight to pace Messalonskee (5-6). Mayo also had 11 rebounds.

Madison 33, Mountain Valley 28: Sam Bruce scored a game-high 15 points to lead the Bulldogs to an MVC win over the Falcons in Rumford.
Bronte Elias added eight points for Madison, which improved to an 8-2 record on the season.
Mountain Valley (2-8) was led by Brooke Dollof with 13 points.

Boys basketball

Lewiston 61, Lawrence 58: Abdi Hussein scored 11 points and Donne Agossou added 10 to lead the Blue Devils to the KVAC A victory in Lewiston.
Isaiah Harris scored nine points for Lewiston (6-5).
Spencer Carey paced Lawrence (9-2) with 26 points.

Edward Little 55, Messalonskee 53: Sean Ford and Quin Leary combined for 17 points in the second half as the red Eddies ralleid to a KVAC Class A win against the Eagles. Ford finished with 17 poitns to lead EL while Leary added 13. Jordan Holmes led the EEagles with 12 points while Ryan Erskine scored 10. Edward Little is 9-1, Messalonskee is 5-6.
