What is with Republicans in the U.S. House of Representatives and the Senate? Is the NRA threatening with not supporting members for re-election?
Why doesn’t the NRA support background checks? Why doesn’t it want to ban assault weapons? How many more people have to die before something is done? I believe everyone has a right to defend themselves; that’s part of the Constitution. Do we need assault weapons to do this?
More than 90 percent of Americans support background checks and want assault weapons banned. Are Republicans working for the NRA or the people who voted them in office?
And then there is sequester. Firefighters, police, teachers, health care workers and air traffic controllers, to name a few, will have to take furlough days or worry about being laid off. What a disaster this will be.
The sad thing is that the GOP voted for sequester and would not budge. This will not be forgotten. I can’t wait for the 2014 election; Americans will vote the GOP out of office.
And by the way, what is wrong with being a liberal? And what’s right about being a conservative?
