AUGUSTA — Bonnie Dwyer, a certified quilt appraiser and a fourth-generation quilter, will present the Kennebec Historical Society meeting at 6:30 p.m. today at Augusta City Center, 16 Cony St.
Dwyer has been sewing since her mother taught her to sew on a tredle machine in the 1950s. Her passion for textiles began at an early age, influenced by a long line of needle women.
