On a Patriot’s Day where three were killed and scores injured via senseless, horrific bomb blasts at the Boston Marathon, various bomb blasts throughout Iraq killed more than 30 and injured hundreds.

This in a country we invaded on false pretenses 10 years ago, destroyed much of its infrastructure so we could, I believe, sign lucrative contracts with those corporations who profit from war to rebuild same (they never finished). We then went on to spend billions to stabilize the government. It’s not working.

We sure could have used that money back home and, more importantly, avoided the deaths of so many of our service people and the like.
