SKOWHEGAN — John Swett had two singles and two RBIs to lead the Skowhegan baseball team past Brewer 9-6 in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A game Friday afternoon.

Cam Nelson, Kaleb Brown and Henry Ametti each had two hits for Skowhegan (3-2), including a double by Nelson. Taylor Bacon earned the win for the Indians, going six innings and striking out three.

Spencer Valley, Jeff Weeks and Anthony Dissell each had doubles for Brewer (2-2).

Morse 11, Mt. View 0, 5 innings: Paul Whalen had a double, scored two runs and drove in a run as the Shipbuilders beat the Mustangs in Thorndike.

Aaron Doughty added two hits, scored a run and drove in a run for Morse (4-1).

Nathan Wren had two hits for Mt. View (1-4).

Winslow 11, Leavitt 1, 5 innings: Zach Guptill hit a three-run home run to lead the Black Raiders over the Hornets in Turner, in a game finished due to the mercy rule.

Guptill homered in the seven-run second inning for Winslow (5-0). Gabe Smith went 3 for 3, while Taylor Roy had a single and a double for Winslow.

Logan Hewes earned the win, striking out five batters and walking one.

Tyler Hutchinson hit a triple for Leavitt (3-1).

Waterville 6, Nokomis 5: Dan Pooler, Kaleb Kane and Cam Gardiner each had two singles to lead the Purple Panthers to a KVAC B win over the Warriors in Newport.

Owen Brown had a double for Waterville (4-1).

Zach Ramsdell, Connor Allen and Jacob Nichols each had two hits for Nokomis (1-4).

Oak Hill 15, Carrabec 3, 6 innings: Parker Asselin drove in three runs and Ryan Riordan had a double and two RBIs to lead the Raiders to the Mountain Valley Conference win in North Anson.

Brady Dion, Jacob Bannister and Dalton Burns each drove in runs for the Raiders (2-1).

Will Crawford singled, doubled and drove in a run to lead the Cobras (1-2). Branden Lehay had two singles. 

Madison 11, Boothbay 7: Cody Soucier had a triple, a single, two RBIs and three runs scored as the Bulldogs beat the Seahawks in an MVC game in Madison.

Garrett Emery pitched six innings to earn the win for Madison (2-2). He struck out 10 and walked one. Tyler Lawrence added a double and two RBIs. Emery also had a triple.

Linc Simmons had a double, a single and two RBIs for Madison (0-3).
