FARMINGTON — A university student was arrested early Saturday morning after attending a school dance while intoxicated and refusing to leave the event when asked to by police.
Sgt. Michael Adcock said Murphy H. Doughty, 23, of Farmington, was arrested by Officer Levi Gould on a charge of criminal trespass at 12:20 a.m. after Doughty came to the Spring Fling Dance reportedly intoxicated and refused repeated orders from two attending officers to leave the Olsen Student Center event.
Doughty posted bail Saturday, which was set at $3,000 unsecured.
