BANGOR — The Lawrence softball team rallied for six runs in the top of the seventh to stun Bangor 7-4 in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A game Monday afternoon.

Randa Tardy provided the big blow with a three-run double to lead the Bulldogs.

Tardy and Paige Belanger each had two hits for Lawrence (6-7), which trailed 3-1 in the seventh.
Bangor dropped to 8-6.

Skowhegan 3, Hampden Academy 2: Andrea Quirion had two hits, including a double, to lead the Indians to a KVAC A win over the Broncos in Skowhegan.

Kaitlyn Therriault and Morgan Buker each collected two hits for Skowhegan (9-5).

Riley Walker had two hits for Hampden (3-10).

Carrabec 12, Mt. Abram 10: Bailey Atwood doubled and drove in a pair of runs and Carrabec surged ahead with six runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to pull out the Mountain Valley Conference win in North Anson.

Brooke Lewis and Paige Chadbourne each had three hits for the Cobras (4-8). Ashlee Knight also had a double and a single.

Jennie Rowland had two singles to lead Mt. Abram (5-7).

Baseball

Bangor 8, Lawrence 2: Andrew Hiller had two singles and two RBIs to lead the Rams to the KVAC A victory in Bangor.

The Rams (10-4) scored seven runs in the bottom of the sixth to pull away.

Cody Martin had four singles and an RBI to lead Lawrence (3-10). Matt Champney had three hits, including a double, to lead the Bulldogs as well.

Carrabec 7, Mt. Abram 5: Hunter Fernald and Brandon Lehay each drove in apaair of runs to lead the Cobras top the MVC win North Anson. Lehay had a pair of singles while Fernald doubled hme two rnus inthe fourth inning. Sol Fast led the Roadrunners with a pair of hits. Both teams ar 4-8

Waterville 6, Leavitt 0: Adam Barre had three singles and Brian Bellows allowed just three hits and benefitted from a strong defense behind him as the Panthers cruised in a KVAC B game in Turner.

The Panthers (11-3) turned three double plays. Bellows struck out five and didn’t walk anybody.

AJ Godin and Dan Pooler each had two hits for the Panthers.

Drew Gosselin had two singles for Leavitt (5-9).

Camden Hills 8, Mt. View 1: The Windjammaers collected 11 hits in posting the KVAC Class B win in Thorndike. Joe Chamberlain led Camden Hills (9-4) with a double and single while Ricky Moulton and Kyle Turner each doubled and singled for Mt. View (4-10).

Hampden 3, Skowhegan 1: Three Hampden pitchers combined to limit the Indians to five hits in the KVAC Class A win in Skowhegan. Matt palmer pitcked up the pitching win with relief from Tristan gardner and Matt Martin. The Broncos (12-2) scored all three of their runs against Skowhegab staretr Taylor Bacon in the fifth inning. Trevor Hisler doubled for Skowhegan (7-7).
