A 48-year-old Chelsea man was charged with receiving stolen property, burglary and criminal mischief by police responding to a burglary complaint on Williams Road.

Tools were reportedly stolen from two sheds on a Togus Road property. The investigation is ongoing.
CHINA
JUNE 18
Police responded to a report of a suspicious person on Killdeer Point Road. Police determined the person was an employee for the U.S. Census Bureau.
FRIDAY
Two women, a mother and daughter, were found unresponsive from a suspected drug overdose inside a Lakeview Drive home. Both were taken to the hospital.

At 1:15 p.m., suspicious activity was reported on Maple Grove Road.

At 2:24 a.m., there was a report of suspicious activity at China Elementary School on Lakeview Drive.

A 20-year-old West Gardiner man was charged with failure to wear a seat belt, failure to display an inspection sticker and operating after suspension during a traffic stop.
A 59-year-old man was charged with operating under the influence during a traffic stop for speeding 94 mph in a 65 mph zone on Interstate 295.

At 12:56 p.m., mischief was reported on the waterfront.
1:28 p.m., there was an accident on the waterfront.
2:11 p.m., a burglary was reported on Summer Street.
5:31 p.m., threatening was reported on Green Street.
5:45 p.m., mischief was reported on Summer Street.
11:09 p.m., suspicious activity was reported on Riverview Drive.

At 7:28 a.m., there was an accident at the intersection of Whitten Road and Winthrop Street.

JUNE 17
There was a report of a burglary on Nash road. The investigation is ongoing.
SATURDAY
A 34-year-old Pittston man was charged with sale and use of drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop on Route 27.
Police responded to J&L Lane for a report of a recovered shotgun. The owner has not been found.

A 24-year-old Bowdoinham man was charged with operating after suspension during a traffic stop for a seat belt violation on Water Street.

A 21-year-old man was charged with possession of a useable amount of marijuana during a traffic stop for speeding on Interstate 295.

Police responded to a report of criminal mischief. The investigation determined it was a civil complaint and there was no mischief.

AUGUSTA
WEDNESDAY
At 1:09 a.m., Joseph Leo Shaw, 30, of Augusta, was arrested on a warrant on Bangor Street.
2:59 a.m., Robert J. Cooper, 23, of Augusta, was arrested on charges of aggravated assault and refusing to submit to arrest or detention. Cooper reportedly strangled his live-in partner during an altercation at their Glenridge Drive apartment. The woman was taken to MaineGeneral Medical Center where she was treated and released.
3:13 p.m., Nicole L. Leigh, 22, of Washington, was arrested on a warrant and a charge of theft by police responding to a report of shoplifting at Hannaford on Cony Street.
CHELSEA
JUNE 17
Thomas Farrin, 26, was arrested on a warrant charging operating under the influence and a charge of operating after suspension on Togus Road.
Jeffrey Eaton, 28, of Chelsea, was arrested on charges of domestic violence assault and refusing to submit to arrest or detention by police responding to a complaint on Dondero Road.
SUNDAY
Sedgewick Armstrong, 61, was arrested on charges of operating after suspension, speeding and failure to have a current inspection sticker during a traffic stop for speeding on River Road.
GARDINER
JUNE 20
Randall Carl, 48, was arrested on a charge of operating under the influence by police investigating a crash on West Street.
