SOLON — A Solon man was charged Wednesday in connection with a December burglary on South Solon Road.

Craig A. Breingan Sr., 28, of Solon, was charged with class B burglary and class B theft, according to Dale Lancaster, chief deputy of the Somerset County Sheriff’s Department.

The charges stem from the Dec. 31 burglary of a seasonal home at 178 South Solon Road, Lancaster said. Nearly $1,000 worth of DVDs, jewelry, guns and a television set were taken, he said.

Lancaster said evidence left at the home led police to Breingan, who admitted the burglary and theft. He is scheduled to be arraigned Oct. 16 in Skowhegan District Court.
