AUGUSTA — A Pennsylvania man scheduled for jury trial in Kennebec County Superior Court last week had a charge of domestic violence terrorizing dismissed and a separate charge for violating a protective order slated for dismissal in a year if he complies with conditions.

Zachary D. Leeper, 23, of Meshoppen, Pa., must abide by the terms of a protection from abuse order to gain dismissal of the violation of protective order charge.

The dates on both charges were between July 1 to 16, 2012, in Augusta.

In a separate hearing, also in Kennebec County Superior Court, Todd W. McCutcheon, 32, of Augusta, was sentenced to 364 days in jail, all but 28 days suspended, and one year of probation after he was found guilty of unlawful possession of a scheduled drug and violating conditions of release.

The offenses occurred Feb. 2 in Augusta. McCutcheon was also fined $400 and ordered to pay $240 restitution.
