Two men, ages 37 and 21, were charged with cultivating marijuana and possession of marijuana by police responding to a report of a marijuana grow in Litchfield. Police found 9 marijuana plants and confiscated a usable amount of marijuana.
Thursday
Police responded to a report of a domestic dispute. The caller said her boyfriend had assaulted her and was in the house with the couple’s six week old son. The woman later left with the baby, but a police report said nobody was charged because of a lack of physical evidence and conflicting testimony. The case was sent to the district attorney’s office.

There was a report of 300 feet of four-gage welding wire being stolen. The investigation is ongoing.
