AUGUSTA — A weekly Maine survey has found that the average price of home heating fuel has remained steady at $3.43 a gallon.

The price is the same as last week and up one cent from two weeks ago.

The Governor’s Energy Office said Tuesday that kerosene prices rose three cents to a statewide average of $3.87 a gallon and propane prices were up two cents in the last week to $2.61 per gallon.

Around the state, the heating oil prices ranged from a high of $3.72 in central and eastern Maine to a low of $3.18 in southwest, eastern and western parts of the state.
