NORTH ANSON —A federal grant that will bring 20 to 40 AmeriCorps volunteers to Carrabec High School this year was announced at the school this morning.
The school is one of four in the state that will share in the $2.2 million grant to be administered through Learning Works, a Portland-based educational organization.
“I am so thrilled with the possibilities this initiative is going to bring Carrabec High School. It will enable us to continue the work we have started to build relationships with and rigor for our students,” said Principal Regina Campbell.
