SCARBOROUGH — Following a restart, Bobby Timmons III outlasted Evan Beaulieu to win the NASCAR Nite Pro Series 40-lap feature at Beech Ridge on Saturday.

At the halfway mark, Tyler King held a large lead of Beaulieu, but a caution on lap 35 flew for King, who came to a stop on the front stretch with apparent mechanical failure.

With five laps to go, Timmons took the inside while Beaulieu went outside. Timmons gained momentum going into the first corner to take the win, his first since July 2012 and second career NASCAR Nite Pro Series victory.

In the CanAm Tour 150-lap feature event, Eddie McDonald took the lead from Eddie Polewarczyk on a late restart to earn the win.
