DAMARISCOTTA — A documentary about food insecurity in America, “A Place at the Table,” will be shown at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27, in the Porter Meeting Room at Skidompha Library.

The showings are free and open to the public. A free will offering will be collected to benefit the Ecumenical Food Pantry.

The pantry, which relies on donations from individuals and businesses and is sponsored by seven area churches, distributes bags of nonperishable food, vegetables, fruits and breads from 9 to 11 a.m. every Tuesday at the Second Congregational Church, 51 Main St., Newcastle.
