MOSCOW — Charles and Kellie Atwood of Moscow have announced the engagement of their daughter, Haylie Atwood of Pleasant Ridge to Matthew Kennedy, of Pleasant Ridge, son of Rusty Kennedy, of Pleasant Ridge, and Karen and Lester Blodgett, of Concord.
Haylie is a 2007 graduate of Upper Kennebec Valley High School and a 2011 graduate of Kennebec Valley Community College. She is a Registered Nurse at Redington-Fairview General Hospital.
Matthew is a 2005 graduate of Upper Kennebec Valley High School, completed flight training at Guidance Helicopters, Prescott, Ariz. and Northeast Helicopters, Ellington, Conn. He is currently completing B.A.S. in Aviation/Public Administration at UMA graduating in the spring of 2014. He is a United States Airforce Iraq/Afghanistan veteran, 2005-2011.
A June 21, 2014, wedding is planned.
