WILTON — The Tyngtown Club recently held its fourth annual Tyngtown Tee Time, a benefit golf tournament at the Wilson Lake Country Club, according to a press release.
The winners of the various golfing categories were:
Lowest net: Tom Cahn, Richard Sewall, Tom Upham and Ken Dubay.
Lowest gross: Tom Weigle, Heather Weigle, Sue Tinguely and Gerry Tinguely.
Closest to the pin 7: Gail Kennedy
Men’s longest drive 4: Russell France
Senior men’s longest drive 4: Ken Dubay
Ladies longest drive 4: Linda Wentzell
Putting contest: Terry Nadeau
Corporate sponsors for the event were: Upright Frameworks, Wilson Lake Inn, Wiles Remembrance Center, Hammond Lumber, ABT Plumbing, Kyes Agency, Franklin Savings Bank and Barclays. Raffle donations were provided by John Cureton, Dick Austin, Cazolaio, Peggy Hodgkins, Barbara Strong, Wilton Hardware, and the Tyngtown Club.
The fundraiser is for the benefit of the Wilton Library, Wilton Early Childhood Center, Fit Girls, School programs, Downtown flowers and scholarships.
