POLAND — The Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Department has arrested three people in connection with a home invasion on Saturday.

Arrested were Corey Brume, 20, of Lewiston; Paul Farrell, 21, of Lewiston; and Devin Charest, 22, of Auburn.

According to Chief Raymond Lafrance, all three were charged with robbery and are being held at Androscoggin County Jail on $50,000 cash bail.

Lafrance said additional charges are expected when the case is presented to a grand jury.

According to the sheriff’s department, two or three men entered the Julie Street home of Ronald St. Pierre, 71, through a window early Saturday morning.

St. Pierre woke up and grabbed his handgun, but the men wrestled it away from him and fled, taking the loaded .44 Magnum, clothes, drugs and other items.

The sheriff’s office said St. Pierre remains hospitalized, recovering from injuries he suffered.
