SKOWHEGAN — On September 29, 2012, Michael Tessier and Dana Wentworth were married on top of Whittemore Mountain in Skowhegan. It was a private ceremony where immediate family members joined Mike and Dana while Troy and Trevor Tessier witnessed as they united as a family. The autumn colors, the journey to the mountain and the fireworks made for a perfect ceremony.

Dana is the daughter of Kurt and Raye Wentworth of Skowhegan and Michael is the son of Richard and Louise Tessier, also of Skowhegan.

A beautiful country reception was held at the bride’s parents home following the ceremony, where guests danced and celebrated throughout the evening. The decorations and beautiful setting were the creations of Elizabeth Morrill, Emily Farley (best friend of the bride), and David Tessier (brother of the groom) and partner Buddy Thomas.

Dana graduated from Skowhegan Area High School and received her BS in Business Administration from Thomas College in 2012. She is currently working at Maine Wood Heat Company in Skowhegan as a Sales/Marketing Associate.

Michael also graduated from Skowhegan Area High School in Skowhegan and at the time was employed by DeCato & Son Builders. He is currently employed by Sappi Fine Paper — Somerset in Skowhegan.

The couple reside at their home in Skowhegan with sons, Troy and Trevor.
