HALLOWELL — Spectrum Generations will host a Diabetes Prevention Program at Cohen Community Center, 22 Town Farm Road. The 16-week class will meet from 8 to 9 a.m. weekly, starting Monday, then monthly for the following six months.

Tina DeRaps, wellness and family caregiver specialist, will lead participants in making healthier eating choices, being more active, healthy habits healthier and finding long-term support. Those with pre-diabetes or at a high risk for diabetes are encouraged to participate.

There is no cost. To register, call MaineGeneral’s Prevention Center at 872-4102.
