President Barack Obama seems to have a lot of support to strike the Syrian military in response for its chemical weapons attack on its own civilians. The method of intervention for the U.S. in a foreign civil conflict is always a tricky one, but obviously the Syrian government crossed the line.

Many people have asked why the use of chemicals weapons is the line in the sand for President Obama, when bullets and bombs are just as bad.

The U.S. military never did find the weapons of mass destruction in Iraq about a decade ago. Could the chemical weapons used in Syria be from a hidden stockpile smuggled there before the Iraq invasion began?

If the weapons did come from a stockpile from Iraq, then the prudent plan is to remove or wipe the stockpile out before it is used again.
