THORNDIKE — Bryan Jungels scored a pair of goals to lead the Mt. View boys soccer team to a 4-0 win over Nokomis in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B game.

Kyle Crowell and Brandon Reynolds added goals for the Mustangs while Silas Fox, Vittorio Frascolino and Reynolds recorded assists. Mikey Hustus made sx saves for Mt. View (2-1-0) while Nate Buck had 12 for the Warriors (0-2-0).

Mt. Ararat 2, Mt. Blue 1, 2OT: Ty Veno unassisted goal 20 seconds into the second overtime period liefte dthe Eagles to the KVAC Class A win in Topsham. Ike Doiron’s goal, assisted by Evan Backus, gave the Cougars a first-half lead. The Eagles tied the game on an unassisted goal from Justin Pierce in the second half. John Roux made nine saces for Mt. Ararat (2-2-0) while Colton Lawrence had 10 for Mt. Blue (2-1-0).

Maranacook 3, Waterville 0:
Alex Tooth scored a goal and added an assist to lead the Black Bears to the KVAC Class B win in Waterville. Tooth assisted Zach Godbout’s goal then scored an unassisted goal o a header to give Maranacook a 2-0 lead at the half. Alec Daigle scored an unassisted goal in the second half.

Brad Worster recorded one save in goal for Maranacook (4-0-0) while Liam Edwards stopped 16 shots for Watervlle (3-1-0).

Girls soccer

Mt. Ararat 4, Mt. Blue 1:
Nikki Broostreet scored two goals to lead the Eagles to the KVAC win in Farmington. Katie Labbay and Torri Pelletier also scored for Mt. Ararat while Miranda Nicely scored for Mt. Blue assisted by Eryn Doiron. Thia Bridges made seven saves for Mt. Blue (1-2-0) while Addie Schant made two for Mt. Ararat (4-0-0).

Nokomis 4, Mt. View 0: Keslie Richards scored three goals to lead the Warriors to the Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B win in Newport. Emilie Bailey added a goal for  Nokomis while Kylie Richards had two asissts. Logan Basford made 17 saves in goal for Mt. View (0-3-0) while Becky Orcutt made seven stops for Nokomis (2-1-0).

Erskine 9, Belfast 1: Tasha Dutil had a hat trick to lead the Eagles to the KVAC B win in South China.
Jade Canak and Avery Bond added two goals apiece for Erskine (2-0-0) while Emma McCormac and Taylor Boucher had one each. Emma Wilkinson chipped in with three assists and McCormac added two more. Mattie Lajoie and Cassandra Ray combined to make five saves.

Ashley Littlefield scored an unassisted goal for Belfast (0-2-0). Grace Davis made 18 saves.

Hall-Dale 4, Carrabec 2: Addie Davis had a goal and an assist to lead the Bulldogs to the MVC win in Farmingdale.

Lily Ly, Maura Stottler and Eva Shepherd also scored for Hall-Dale (3-0-0). Olivia Maynard and Clio Barr chipped in with an assist each. Maynard stopped seven shots.

Brooklyn Lewis and Paige Chadbourne each scored for the Cobras (0-2-0). Liberty Chestnut and Emily Witham had an assist each. Macy Welch stopped nine shots.

Field hockey

Skowhegan 9, Mt. Ararat 0: Brooke Michonski scored four goals to lead the Indians to a KVAC A win over the Eagles in Topsham.

Renee Wright had two goals and an assist for Skowhegan (4-0), while Mikayla Toth, Rylie Blanchet and Logan LeBlanc all added a goal. LeBlanc had two assists, while Wright and Allison Lancaster each added an assist.

Skowhegan goalie Leah Kruse earned the shutout.

Renee Rossignol had 19 saves for Mt. Ararat (0-4).

Lawrence 4, Brunswick 0: Four players scored to lead the Bulldogs to the KVAC Class A win in Brunswick. McKenna Rogers scored in the first half assisted by Kapreice Dahms whilr Lauren Watson, Dominique Lewis and Hallee Parlin scored secod-half goal. Rogers also had an assist.
Jordan Van Savage made 31 saves in goal for Brunswick (1-3-0). Lawrence is 3-1-0.
