NEWPORT — Freshman Olivia Brown took a pass from senior Drew Graves and scored the game-winning goal in overtime as Nokomis beat Mt. View 2-1 in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B game Saturday.
Brown gave Nokomis (7-0-0) a 1-0 lead early in the second half with an assist from Kayla Braley. Mt. View (4-3-0) tied it with 9 minutes left in regulation when Reanna Bouley scored on a breakaway.
Kendra Underhill had five saves, including one on a breakaway in overtime, for Nokomis. Dinah Bilodeau had six saves for Mt. View.
Winslow 5, Maranacook 1: Sarah Wildes and Brooke Haskell scored two goals apiece to lead the Black Raiders to the KVAC Class B win in Readfield.
Mackenzie Winslow added a goal for Winslow while Miranda Gagne had two assists. Lindsay Webber scored for Maranacook assisted by Lindsay Jackson.
Bri Goetz made 11 saves in goal for Maranacook (1-6-0) while Delaney Wood had five for Winslow (7-0-0).
Lawrence 1, Oxford Hills 0: Julia Lawrence scored early in the second half to lift the Bulldogs to the KVAC Class A win at Thomas College in Watervile.
Alexis Chamberalin assisted on the goal. Emily Tozier made four saves in goal for Lawrence (6-1-0) while teammate Emily McLean had a key defensive save.
Shannon Fillebrown made eight saves for Oxford Hills (5-2-0).
Girls soccer
Lawrence 1, Oxford Hills 1, 2OT: Audri Fortier scored an unassisted goal late in the first half and the Bulldogs earned a tie with the Vikings in a KVAC A game in South Paris.
Mikayla Morin scored from Avery O’Connor to give Oxford Hills (2-0-2) a 1-0 lead.
Paige Belanger had eight saves for Lawrence (2-2-1), while Sam Bickford had eight saves for Oxford Hills.
Rangeley 5, Valley 0: Michaela Shorey had two goals as the Lakers beat the Cavaliers on Friday.
Tori Letarte, Natasha Haley and Blayke Morin each added a goal for Rangeley (3-1-0). Taylor Esty had four saves.
Samantha West had 14 saves for Valley (0-5-0).
Boys soccer
Valley 4, Rangeley 1: Stone Ellis had a goal and an assist as the Cavaliers beat the Lakers on Friday.
Jordan Gillespie, Michael Hilton and Colin Miller also scored for Valley (2-3-0). Cody Beane had eight saves and Teagan Staples added an assist.
Dale White had 10 saves for Rangeley (0-4-0).
