WATERVILLE — Kersey Boulay scored with less than five minutes remaining in regulation to help lift the Mt. View field hockey team past Waterville 2-1 in an Eastern B game Thursday afternoon.

Austyn Thomas gave Mt. View (6-3) the lead in the first half when she scored off a pass from Reanna Boulay. Dinah Bilodeau made three saves in the cage for the win.

Gaby Bridger scored with 7:25 left in the game for Waterville (4-3-1). Olivia Lopes assisted on the goal. Rachael Bergeron had 12 saves for the Panthers.

Winslow 5, Morse 0: Mackenzie Winslow and Bethany Winkin each scored a goal and an assist to lead the Raiders in a Class B game in Winslow.

Brooke Haskell, Jessica Greeley and Ciera Poulin also scored for Winslow (9-0). Miranda Gagne also had an assist.

Brynna Ringrose had 14 saves for Morse (1-8).

Messalonskee 8, Edward Little 0: Emily Hogan and Mikayla Turner each scored two goals to lead the Eagles to the Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A win in Auburn.

Nathalie St. Pierre, Kassi Michaud, Sydney Gagne, Erin Field and Brooke Quirion also scored for Messalonskee (8-1).

Karli Stubbs had 25 saves for EL (0-8).

Mt. Blue 6, Brunswick 0: The Cougars won their fourth straight by blanking the Dragons at Thomas College in Waterville.

Victoria Newbill scored twice for Mt. Blue (6-2). Erynn Hiscock and Taylor Hollingdale each added a goal and an assist. Mikayla Oswald and Hannah LeClair accounted for the other goals, while Emilee Eustis and Krista McLatchy each chipped in with an assist.

Brunswick is 1-8.

Boys soccer

Mt. Abram 3, Mountain Valley 0: Trevor Brackley scored two goals, one in each half, and Calum Dixon also scored to lead the Roadrunners to the Mountain Valley Conference win in Rumford.

Colin McCarthy-Edwards and Bryson Walker each had assists for Mt. Abram (5-2-0). Tristen Dyer had three saves for Mt. Abram as well.

Dakota Jacques had 16 saves for the Falcons (1-5-0).

Mt. View 2, Waterville 1:
Jack Simpson and Vittorio Frascolino each scored goals to lead the Mustangs to the Eastern B victory in Thorndike.

Simpson also had an assist for Mt. VIew (4-2-1).

Tommy Sampson had a goal and Michael Olivera had an assist to lead the Purple Panthers (4-2-1).

Erskine 2, Medomak Valley 1:
Sam Wilkinson and Ryad Rodrique each scored goals to lead the Eagles in Waldoboro.

Joe York had an assist for Erskine (6-1-0), who trailed 1-0 just 12 minutes into the game.

Medomak Valley dropped to 1-5-2.

Girls soccer

Erskine 3, Medomak Valley 0: Jade Canak scored a pair of goals in the second half and Cassandra Ray stopped all four shots she faced as the Eagles cruised to the victory in South China.

Michaela Sprague scored in the first half for Erskine (5-2-0).

Chelsea Ripley had 11 saves for the Panthers (1-5-1).

Waterville 8, Mt. View 0: Lydia Roy, Pilar Elias and Fotin Shanos scored two goals apiece to lead the Purple Panthers to the Class B win in Waterville. Sarah Shoulta added a goal and three asissts while Jenn Christensen scored a goal. Elias, Colleen O’Donnell and Kaylyn Trussell also had assists.

Tori Strain made 14 saves in goal for Mt. View (1-5-1) while Gabi Martin wasn’t called upon to make any for Waterville (6-0-0).
