The news on Sept. 18 included a report that PETA is taking Maine fishermen and processors to task for their inhumane treatment of lobsters.
Four hours later, I received a telephone call asking for financial help in passing a state law that bans abortions after five months gestation, a process that involves dismembering the baby.
Where and when do we draw the line? May God forgive us for being more concerned about lobsters, whales or an endangered plant than we are human life.
