CONCORD, N.H. — The U.S. Marshals Service is on the lookout for a 22-year-old New Hampshire man wanted for a string of burglaries in southern Maine.

Timothy Wayne Smith is wanted on a warrant for a parole violation issued by the New Hampshire Department of Corrections Parole Board. Officials say he’s been on the run since August when he ended contact with his parole supervisor following his release from New Hampshire State Prison.

WMUR-TV says Smith is a suspect in burglaries in Lebanon, Maine, in which firearms were stolen.
