OAKLAND — Sophomore Emily Hogan scored four goals as Messalonskee earned a 7-1 victory over Cony in Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A field hockey action Thursday afternoon.

Nathalie St. Pierre added two goals for Messalonskee, and Kassi Michaud also scored. Abby Roberts made one save. The Eagles are now 10-1 and have won eight in a row.

Arika Brochu scored off a pass from Jamie Davis for Cony (6-5). Lindsay Lapierre had five saves.

Mt. Blue 3, Edward Little 0: Three different players scored for the Cougars as they won their seventh straight by defeating the Red Eddies in Farmington.

Sarita Crandall, Leah St. Laurent and Mikayla Oswald had the goals for Mt. Blue (9-2). Kyrie Harnden and Victoria Newbill each added an assist.

Edward Little is 0-11.

Girls soccer


Mt. Blue 2, Messalonskee 1:
Eryn Doiron scored two goals as the Cougars beat the Eagles in a KVAC A game in Oakland.

Doiron scored on a penalty kick in the first half, then scored an unassisted goal in the second half to lift Mt. BLue (4-4-1). Thia Bridges had 11 saves for the Cougars.

McKenna Brodeur scored for Messalonskee (3-6-0) with an assist from Kaitlin Eschenbrenner. Taylor Easler had 12 saves.

Carrabec 6, Dirigo 1:
Brooklynne Lewis scored two goals and had an assist, and Mickayla Willette scored two goals as the Cobras defeated the Cougars in a Mountain Valley Conference game in North Anson.

Paige Chadbourne and Danika Riggs each scored a goal for Carrabec (4-4-1). Skyla Murray, Bailey Atwood and Makayla Leeman were each credited with assists.

Macy Welch made five saves for the Cobras.

Brittany Greig scored the lone goal for Dirigo (3-6-0)

Madison 6, Winthrop 1:
Kirsten Wood had three goals and one assist to lead the Bulldogs past the Ramblers in Madison.

Kayla Bess added two goals and two assists, and Tori McLaughlin had one goal and one assist.

Whitney Lloyd assisted on two goals. Madison is now 7-1-1.
