RICHMOND — Nate Tribbett scored two goals as the Richmond boys soccer team avenged a loss earlier this season to Buckfield with a 4-0 win Thursday in an East/West Conference game.

Buckfield beat Richmond 1-0 on Sept. 19.

Brendan Emmons and Bailey Johannsen added goals while Sam Lorbeski, Cody Tribbet and Cameron Emmons each had an assist. The Bobcats got strong defensive games from Curtis Anderson, Tyler Soucy, Sean Bernier and Marcus Blake who helped hold the Bucks to four shots.

Dustin Sullivan made four saves for Richmond (5-2-1) while Calvin Downey made 19 for Buckfield (6-4-0).

Field hockey

Messalonskee 7, Cony 1: Sophomore Emily Hogan scored four goals to lead the Eagles to the Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A win in Oakland.

Nathalie St. Pierre added two goals for Messalonskee, and Kassi Michaud also scored. Abby Roberts made one save. The Eagles are now 10-1-0 and have won eight in a row.

Arika Brochu scored off a pass from Jamie Davis for Cony (6-5-0). Lindsay Lapierre had five saves.

Leavitt 2, Gardiner 0: The Hornets scored twice in the first half to defeat the Tigers in a game played at Bates College in Lewiston.

Sadie Royer had both goals for Leavitt (8-3-0). Sierra Santamango did not make a save for the Hornets.

Emalee Couture made three saves for Gardiner (7-3-0).

Mt. Blue 2, Messalonskee 1: Eryn Doiron scored two goals as the Cougars beat the Eagles in a KVAC A game in Oakland.

Doiron scored on a penalty kick in the first half, then scored an unassisted goal in the second half to lift Mt. BLue (4-4-1). Thia Bridges had 11 saves for the Cougars.

McKenna Brodeur scored for Messalonskee (3-6-0) with an assist from Kaitlin Eschenbrenner. Taylor Easler had 12 saves.

Hall-Dale 9, Boothbay 0: Four players scored two goals each to lead the Bulldogs to the MVC win In Farmingdale.

Maura Stottler, Thea Sweet, Andrea Fredericks and Asia DiBenedetti scored two goals each while Signe Lynch scored once. Sweet, Lynch, Stottler, Eva Shepherd, Clio Barr and Addie Davis notched assists.

Jamie Wheeler made 13 saves for Boothbay (0-8-1) while Olivia Maynard made one and Kayla Johnson three for Hall-Dale (8-1-1).

Richmond 3, Buckfield 0: Chika Obi, Amber Loon and Kelsea Anair scored goals to lead the Bobcats to the East/West Conference win in Richmond.

Cameron Hurley recorded an assist. The Bobcats drew strong defensive games from Haley Murphy, Nicole Blake, Kyla Johannsen and Kalah Patterson.

Kelsi Obi made three saves for Richmond (7-1-0) while Dee Arrabine made 20 for Buckfield (6-4-0).

Madison 6, Winthrop 1: Kirsten Wood had three goals and one assist to lead the Bulldogs past the Ramblers in Madison.

Kayla Bess added two goals and two assists, and Tori McLaughlin had one goal and one assist. Whitney Lloyd assisted on two goals. Madison is now 7-1-1.

Shie Smith scored the goal for Winthrop (0-8-1). Haley Choate made 10 saves.

Monmouth 4, Telstar 0: Kylie Kemp scored three goals to lead the Mustangs to the MVC win in Bethel.

Haley Fletcher added a goal for the Mustangs while Sidney Wilson and Sammi Grandahl each had an assist.

Ana Harren made seven saves for Telstar (0-8-1) while Mikayla Cameron stopped two shots fro Monmouth (7-2-0).

Hampden 5, Cony 4: Brianna Cota’s breakaway goal in the second half lifted the Broncos to the KVAC A win in Augsta.

Emily Quirion scored with an assist from Olivia Deeves to give Cony a 1-0 lead in the first half. Cota tied the game on an assist from Erin Jeter midway through the second half.

Autumn Sudsbury made eight saves for Ciny (5-4-0) while Sami Bowler made seven for Hampden (5-1-2).
