Miriam Asch, 6, of Hallowell, mixes apple pie filling on Wednesday at The Children’s Discovery Museum in Augusta. She and other children were taking part in the annual pie making event when children mix up a crust, filling and crumble topping for the pie that they get to take home to bake.
