FAIRFIELD — Fairfield seeks volunteers interested in serving on various boards and committees. Seats available as of Jan. 1, 2014, are: budget committee, four seats with three-year terms, and one seat with a two-year term; planning board, one seat with a five-year term, and one alternate seat with a three-year term; land use board of appeals, two seats with three-year terms, one seat with a two-year term, and one alternate seat with a three-year term; economic development committee, two seats with three-year terms; board of assessment review, one seat with a three-year term, and one alternate seat with a three-year term; CATV board of directors, one seat with a three-year term.
Residents interested in serving can contact the Town Clerk’s office or visit fairfieldme.com. The Town Council will make appointments at their annual Organizational Meeting on Jan. 2, 2014.
