AUGUSTA — A Whitefield man scheduled for a jury trial Friday morning in Kennebec County Superior Court found himself cleared of all charges.

The prosecutor, Assistant District Attorney David Spencer, filed a dismissal of the four charges against 22-year-old Kevin M. Swift, indicating the victim named in three of the charges failed to appear to testify, and the other charge was insignificant.

Swift had been charged with burglary, violation of condition of release and two counts of criminal mischief, all relating to an incident July 7 in Augusta.
