RUMFORD — Alex McPherson scored 12 points as the Hall-Dale boys basketball team beat Mountain Valley 51-29 in a Mountain Valley Conference game Thursday.

Brian Allen scored nine points for Hall-Dale (4-1), while Taylor Lockhart added eight points.

Kaleb Gayvin led Mountain Valley (1-3) with 11 points.

MONMOUTH 52, LISBON 37: Kasey Smith scored 12 points to lead the Mustangs to an MVC win over the Greyhounds in Lisbon.

Isiah Calder scored 11 points for Monmouth (3-2), while Marcques Houston added nine points.

Jacob Johnston led Lisbon (1-3) with 10 points.

MESSALONSKEE 63, EDWARD LITTLE 52: Jordon Holmes had 22 points and six assists as the Eagles beat the Eddies in a KVAC A game in Auburn.

Ryan Erskine added 11 points and six assists for Messalonskee (3-1). Nick Mayo had four blocked shots.

Salad Sheikh and Lew Jensen each had 12 points for Edward Little (1-3). Kaleb Maine and Andrew Middleton each added 10.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

LINCOLN 54, ERSKINE 24: Jen Genthner scored 13 points to lead Lincoln Academy to a win over Erskine in Newcastle.

Barret Campbell added eight points for Lincoln (3-1).

Hannah Bridges led Erskine (1-4) with eight points. Mallory Chamberlain added five points.

MARANACOOK 61, CAMDEN HILLS 45: On Wednesday, Christine Miller had 22 points, seven rebounds, and five assists as the Black Bears defeated the Windjammers in Rockport.

Liz D’Angelo added 16 points for Maranacook (3-2), and Sarah Clough scored 10. Catherine Sanborn contributed four assists and five steals.

Maddie Bowman led Camden Hills (4-1) with 15 points.

CONY 62, BREWER 37: The Rams scored 24 points in the seocnd quatrter en route to the KVAC Clas A win in Augusta. Emily Quirion paced Cony (2-2) with 18 points while Hayley Quirion and Bayleigh Logan each scored 11. Maddie Bailey scored 16 points for Brewer (1-4) and Megan Libby 11.
