GRAY— The National Weather Service says winter is ready to give Maine another blast.

Meteorologist James Brown says there’s a winter storm watch in effect for parts of Maine with potential for six inches or more of snow Sunday evening. He says some coastal Cumberland and York counties could see rain.

Brown says forecasters are watching the track.

The region has been in active weather pattern this month. Maine has been socked with several snow storms, followed by a prolonged icing event that started last weekend.
