SKOWHEGAN — Jordon Holmes and Nick Mayo each scored 14 points to help the Messalonskee boys basketball team sink Skowhegan 62-43 in a Kennebec Valley Athletic COnference Class A Game Friday night.

Jordan Carson added 10 points for the Eagles, who improve to 5-2.

DeQuan Frost had 15 points and Isaac Witham 11 for Skowhegan (0-5).

Mt. View 54, MCI 39: Jack Simpson scored 17 points as the Mustangs beat the Huskies in a KVAC B game in Thorndike.

Bryan Jungels added 10 points for Mt. View (4-3).

Slade Emery had nine points for MCI (2-5).

Girls basketball

NOKOMIS 32, WINSLOW 15: Anna Mackenzie had 11 points, all in the second half, as the Warriors beat the Black Raiders in a KVAC B game in Winslow.

Kelsie Richards added nine points and Kylie Richards eight points for Nokomis (8-0).

Allyson Wood had six points for Winslow (5-2).

Rangeley 59, Greenville 11: Taylor Esty scored 21 points as the Lakers cruised to an East/West Conference win in Greenville.

Blayke Morin added 21 points, six steals and five rebounds for Rangeley (6-0). Seve Deery-DeRaps added 11 points for the Lakers.

Grace Bilodeau had six points for Greenville (2-4).

MT. VIEW 42, MCI 30: Courtney Morse scored a game-high 13 points to lead the Mustangs to a KVAC B win over the Huskies in Pittsfield.

Dinah Bilodeau scored nine points, while Brooke Tripp added eight points for Mt. View (2-6).

Katie Hughes led MCI (1-6) with 11 points.
