FARMINGDALE — Hall-Dale rallied from an 11-0 first-quarter deficit to hand Dirigo a 60-57 loss, its first of the season, in Mountain Valley Conference boys basketball action Friday night.

Wesley Lapointe led the Bulldogs with 12 points and 13 rebounds while Brian Allen added nine points and 10 rebounds and Nat Crocker dished out seven assists.

“We just played really good help-side defense,” Hall-Dale coach Chris Ranslow said.

Dylan Kidder led Dirigo (8-1) with 17 points and Riley Robinson scored 13. Hall-Dale is 7-3.

KENTS HILL 59, BERWICK 56: Trevor Guity had 22 points and eight assists to lead the Huskies to the win in Kents Hill.

Trenton SirLouis added 15 points and 10 rebounds for Kents Hill (2-2) while Luke Arsenault had 12 points and 14 rebounds. Luke Dragonette chipped in with six points and 10 rebounds.

Steven Sherbann led Berwick with 28 points.

CAMDEN HILLS 76, MARANACOOK 59: Taylor Wilbur scored 25 points, but it wasn’t enough for the Black Bears, who fell to the Windjammers in a KVAC B game in Rockport.

Cam Brochu scored 16 points, while Kent Mohlar added 11 points for Maranacook (7-4).

Chandler Crans led Camden Hills (8-2) with 25 points.

Wiscasset 59, Monmouth 46: Travis Padilla scored 16 of his 22 points in the second half as the Wolverines outscored the Mustangs 36-18 on their way to the MVC win in Wiscasset.

Padilla also had five assists. Matt Craig had 10 of his 12 points after halftime for Wiscasset (6-4) while Chandler Longfellow chipped in with 11 points and seven rebounds.

Monmouth (4-4) was led by Kasey Smith with 14 points and Marcques Houston with eight.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Maranacook 57, Camden Hills 46: Catherine Sanborn scored 15 points, had eight assists and six steals to lead the Black Bears to the KVAC B win in Readfield.

Sarah Clough scored 13 points, while Liz DiAngelo added 12 points for Maranacook (7-4).

Bekah Hilty led Camden Hills (4-6) with 12 points.

Forest Hills 49, Richmond 32: Kori Coro scored a game-high 26 points to lead the Tigers to the East/West Conference win in Richmond.

Dana McNally added eight points for Forest Hills, which remained unbeaten at 9-0.

Kelsea Anair led Richmond (4-6) with 14 points while Morgan Harrington scored eight.

GIrls hockey

Hebron 4, Kents Hill 1: Rachael Berry had two goals and an assist as the Lumberjacks beat the Huskies.

Shannon Bailey and Eliza Beaudin each added a goal, while Taylor Fowler and Lauren Rousseau each had an assist for Hebron.

Margeaux Cohen scored for Kents Hill.
