WATERVILLE —Colleen O’Donnell scored 17 points to lead the Waterville girls basketball team to a 46-32 win over Erskine in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B game Wednesday.

Hannah Allen scored 12 points, while Jordan Jabar added 10 points for the Purple Panthers (7-5).

Hannah Bridges led the Eagles (3-10) with 12 points.

RANGELEY 53, KENTS HILL 25: Blayke Morin had 18 points and eight rebounds to lead the host Lakers to the win.

Tori Letarte added 13 points for Rangeley (12-1).

Emma Curnin scored 13 points for the Huskies (5-3) while Ashley Doyle had 10.

VALLEY 26, ISLESBORO 23: Teagan Laweryson scored four of her 12 points in the final minute of play to help the Cavaliers take the East/West Conference win at Isleboro.

Valley (7-6) trailed 16-13 going into the fourth quarter. Autumn Johnson led Islesboro (9-3) with nine points.

BOYS BASKETBALL

WATERVILLE 49, ERSKINE 19: Owen Brown scored 14 points to lead the Purple Panthers to a KVAC B win over the Eagles in South China.

Alan Wood and Justin Jabar each scored 10 points for Waterville (7-5).

Josh Reed led Erskine (0-13) with four points.

MESSALONSKEE 65, CONY 48: Jordon Holmes scored 30 points, including five 3-pointers in the second half, to lead the Eagles to the KVAC A win in Augusta.

The Eagles outscored the Rams 40-23 after halftime. Nick Mayo added 10 points for Messalonskee.

Cony (5-9) was led by Alex Neill with 13 points and Liam Stokes with eight.

VALLEY 70, ISLESBORO 56: Cody Laweryson scored 16 points to lead the Cavaliers to the East/West Conference win at Islesboro.

Collin Miller added 15 points for Valley, which pulled away in the second half. Teagan Staples had six blocks, while Devin Gillespie had five assists for Valley (10-3).

Forrest Boucher led Islesboro (5-7) with 21 points.

BOYS HOCKEY

MESSALONSKEE 10, BREWER 2: Jared Cunningham had four goals, including three straight in the second period, and three assists as the Eagles cruised to their 10th win of the season, beating the Witches in Brewer.

Chase Cunningham added three goals and five assists for Messalonskee, which improves to 10-0-0. Dan Condon had a goal and two assists, while Dylan Burton had a goal and three assists for the Eagles. Brandon Nale also had two assists. Ben Weeks and Elijah Tuell combined for 17 saves for Messalonskee.

Jared White and Trey Wood scored for Brewer (5-4-2).

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL

ST. JOSEPH’S 81, THOMAS 36: Morgan Cahill scored 19 points to lead the Monks to the win in Standish.

Lindsay Moore added 12 points for St. Joe’s (11-3) while Molly Mack chipped in with 12.

Thomas (2-12) was led by Gardiner graduate Katie McAllister with nine points and Emilee Reynolds with six.
