WESTBROOK — Woodfords Family Services recently recognize Maegan Waldrop, of Starks, administrative support and teaching assistant at Woodfords’ Central Maine Program and at the Oakland Preschool, with a Directors’ Award. The Central Maine Program provides community case management and in home services to children and families in the region as well as operating two preschool programs in Oakland and Topsham that serve children with autism and other developmental delays.

Waldrop was selected for recognition because of her strong work ethic, organization skills, willingness to cross-train and support other programs, and her cheerful personality. She has been with Woodfords for two years.

Her supervisor Bob Barton, director of Central Maine Programs, said in the release, “Maegan is a hard worker who is always interested in learning more. She volunteered to become certified to teach safety classes to families; to coordinate the SibShop program, an activity club and peer support group for sibling of children with special needs; to support Woodfords’ 5K fundraiser for children with autism; and to initiate new programs at the Oakland Preschool. Always flexible, Maegan does it all with a smile.”
