WATERVILLE —Rebecca Szabo and Christopher Carter were married Aug. 31, 2013 in Waterville.

The bride is the daughter of David and Diane Szabo, of Winslow. The bridegroom is the son of Lloyd and Janice Carter, of Saranac, N.Y.

Serena Good was maid of honor. Flower girls were Olivia and Makayla Grant.

Caleb Shelby was best man. Ushers were Gary, Michael and Samuel Bitar, and Jarrad Grant. Jonas Selby was ring bearer.

A reception was held at T&B Celebration Center in Waterville.

Mrs. Carter is a 2006 graduate of Winslow High School, a 2009 graduate of Kennebec Valley Community College, where she earned her associate degree in computer science, 2011 completed a Phlebotomy Program, and is a 2013 graduate of Central Maine Medical Center’s School of Nursing in Lewiston. She is employed at Glenridge, a division of MaineGeneral in Augusta.

Mr. Carter is a 2002 graduate of Saranac High School, and a 2008 graduate of the College of Pharmacology in Albany, N.Y., where he earned his doctorate degree. He is employed by the VA Maine Healthcare Systems-Togus in Augusta.

The couple honeymooned in their new home in Winslow.
