AUGUSTA — Police are looking for two men after a report of a robbery Monday at a Bond Brook Road home.

Augusta Police Sgt. Christian Behr declined to provide specifics during the active investigation, but he confirmed two men were involved in a robbery around 4:30 p.m. inside a home on Bond Brook Road. He declined to say whether a weapon was involved, but initial police scanner reports indicated the men pointed a handgun at the homeowner.

Behr said nobody was injured during the robbery.

Moments after the robbery, police converged on a vehicle on Leighton Road. Behr said police believe the robbers fled the home in the vehicle. A search of the area with a State Police dog failed to locate the men.

Behr said there is a poor description of the robbers. He said both men were wearing ski masks.

Augusta Police detectives continued to investigate the incident late Monday evening.
