MEDFIELD, Mass. — Former Boston Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling has knocked another half-million dollars off the selling price of his Boston-area home.

Real estate agent Robin Wish confirms to The Boston Globe that the price for Schilling’s 26-acre estate in Medfield has been reduced to $2.5 million.

Schilling and his wife, Shonda, bought the home from former New England Patriots quarterback Drew Bledsoe in 2004 for $4.5 million.

Schilling has said he invested as much as $50 million of his own money in 38 Studios, his failed video game company.

The Schillings held an estate sale in October.

The 20-room home has seven bedrooms, an eight-car garage, a movie theater, pool, putting green, and of course, batting and pitching cages.
