The first of a series of meetings on the Comprehensive Plan update for the town of Belgrade is set for 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Maine Lakes Resource Center.
The plan has been worked on for a couple of years, and the state recently approved the updated version.
Other meetings to discuss the provisions in the plan are set for April 9 at the North Belgrade Community Center and April 22 in the social room at the Center for All Seasons. Both those meetings will begin at 6:30 p.m.
A public hearing is scheduled for April 29, and the voters are expected to see a referendum regarding adoption of the plan on the June ballot.
A copy of the updated plan proposal and map is available through the town’s website at www.townofbelgrade.com and at the Town Office.
