BOOTHBAY HARBOR — Madison pitcher Emily McKenney needed only 54 pitches to fire a perfect game as the Bulldogs routed Boothbay, 27-0, in Mountain Valley Conference softball action Friday afternoon.

The game was shortened to five innings by the mercy rule. McKenney threw 43 strikes and 11 balls and struck out 13.

Nine different players had hits for Madison (4-0). Aly LeBlanc singled three times, doubled, and drove in four runs, while McKenney and Kirsten Wood each had three hits. Kayla Bess, Erin Whalen, and Madeline Wood added two hits apiece.

Boothbay is 0-3.

CONY 14, LAWRENCE 1, 5 innings: Olivia Deeves had two hits — a double and a triple — to lead the Rams to a KVAC A win over the Bulldogs in Fairfield.

Arika Brochu collected two hits while earning the win in the circle for Cony (4-0). Maggie Russell and Michayla Dostie each had two hits for the Rams, while Kassidy Turgeon had three hits.

Audri Fortier had a double for Lawrence (1-3).

MORSE 8, ERSKINE 6: Kaitlyn Sutter smacked two doubles, but it wasn’t enough for the Eagles, who fell to the Shipbuilders in Bath.

Mallory Chamberlain struck out seven batters, while Amber Grady had three hits for Erskine (0-4).

Morse improves to 2-2.

GARDINER 10, MT. VIEW 0: Brittany Rollins pitched a three-hit and Katelyn Boyington belted a three-run homer to lead the unbeaten Tigers to the Kennebec Valley Atheltic Conference Class B win in Gardiner. Boyington also singled while Mary Toman doubled and singled, and Julia Nadeau and Morgan Carver each singled twice. Rollins allowed three hits, walked one and struck out seven. Gardine ris 4-0, Mt. View is 0-4.

OAK HILL 22, CARRABEC 3, 5 inn.: The Raiders scored 15 runs in the second inning en route to the MVC win in Wales. Sadie Goulet had four hits for Oak Hill (1-4) and recored six strikeouts on the mound. Grace Sabine doubled, singled and drove in five runs while teammate Emma Hisler had three hits and Kayla Veilleux and Brooke Surette two hits each. Baylee Atwood tripled for Carrabec (2-1).

MT. VIEW 5, GARDINER 1: Kenny McGray pitched a three-hitter to lead the Mustangs to the KVAC B win in Thorndike.

David Clark had three singles, an RBI and scored two runs for Mt. View (2-3) while Erik Larrabee had two singles and an RBI.

Logan Peacock, Nic Berube and Josh Mashke each singled for Gardiner (1-3).

BASEBALL

WATERVILLE 18, LINCOLN 10: Ben Cox went 3 for 4 with five RBIs, including a bases loaded-clearing double in the bottom of the third inning as the Panthers won a wild one in Waterville.

Dalton Wood earned the victory in relief of Kaleb Kane as the Panthers (3-1) rallied from an 8-1 deficit.

Aidan Fitzgerald and Dan Pooler combined to score seven runs and drive in four runs for Waterville.

Lincoln (3-2) had five doubles.

MORSE 7, ESRKINE 1: The Shipbuilders took advantage of five Erskine errors en route to the KVAC Class B win in Bath. Ryan Rodrigue doubled twice for Erskine (1-3) while Nate Martin drove in a run. Morse is 3-1.

LAWRENCE 8, CONY 1: Derek Bowen had two doubles and three RBIs, while Joe LeClair had two doubles and two RBIs in the Bulldogs’ KVAC A win over the Rams in Fairfield.

Spencer Folsom had two singles and an RBI for Lawrence (2-2). Cole Robinson earned the win on the mound for the Bulldogs, striking out seven in five innings of work.

Charlie Hallak and Connor Perry each hit doubles for Cony (0-4).

MARANACOOK 7, MCI 0: Freshman Max McQuillan threw a one-hitter, walking one and striking out seven, to lead the Black Bears to the KVAC B win in Readfield.

Connor Ireland had two hits for Maranacook (3-2).

Charles Moriarty had the MCI (0-5) hit, a single in the third inning.

MADISON 15, BOOTHBAY 5: K.P. Carpenter and Derek LeBlanc each had four hits to lead Madison to the MVC win in Boothbay.

Carpenter drove in four runs for the Bulldogs (1-3), while LeBlanc drove in two. Cody Soucier hit a solo home run in the sixth inning for Madison. Jack Money allowed four hits and two walks with six strikeouts for the win.

OAK HILL 5, CARRABEC 4: Brady Dion had three singles and an RBI to lead the Raiders past Carrabec in Wales.

Jonah Martin added two singles for Oak Hill (4-1).

Will Crawford had two singles for Carrabec (1-2).

BOYS LACROSSE

MESSALONSKEE 14, CONY 2: Dan Condon scored four goals to lead the Eagles to a KVAC A victory over the Rams in Oakland.

Ben Weeks, Ryan Erskine and Eric Van Der Karr each scored two goals for Messalonskee (3-1), while Josh Yanelli and Jack Bernatchez each scored a goal. Jake Smith and Elijah Tuell combined for nine saves.

Dan Erbe and Nick Stilphen each scored goals for Cony (1-3).

MORSE 16, MT. BLUE 1: Otto Werwais scored four goals to lead the Shipbuilders past the Cougars.

Dylan Crowell and Alec Beverage each scored two goals for Morse (3-0).

Connor Rouillard scored the lone goal for Mt. Blue (1-2).
